Power your Panasonic GH3 GH4 GH5 on USB? YES!!! Micro 4/3 power HACK!
USB powers everything, even those things that USB doesn't power. I tested this little QuickCharge 3.0 USB power adapter with a battery dongle for my GH4 to record for hours and it worked great.
amzn.to/40YU2SB
Let me show you how this comes together - especially since the Panasonic GH3 GH4 and GH5 don't feature USB powering natively.

      Love carefully and you'll see that the B4 lens adaptor has a "foot" and that is what is being mounted to the tripod. It's the camera that's hanging off the back. If the camera is small and light, like a M43 DSLR, then the camera can support it's own weight on the M43 mount. Do not hang a B4 lens of the front of a camera with a thin lens mount. The B4 mount was robustly designed for ENG cameras and can easily let you support a 10 pound camera from the lens grip. It's today's mirrorless camera lens mounts that are the weak point.

      Unless you are at the long end of the lens and you are outside with the wind blowing, that will shake the lens and then rails with lens support will be needed. Otherwise, indoors, I have found it to be enough.

    I got a ls300 and a B4 lens coming, I know I saw one I needed to replace my kit after I had to sell my main camera and just theres nothing better, does this let the zoom also control the VSM zoom if you turn that feature on? I know the rocker ON the camera can control that.

      The two are separate. Zoom on the lens only controls the lens. Zoom on the camera can't control the lens because there's no lens port for the B4 lens.

    The thing with the Pebble watches were, that they were sufficient for many people. And I am with you that I want a watch that displays messages and appointments, have a ton of different watch faces and look good. I want a watch that I won't need to tap to wake up or that flashes in my face at night. It doesn't need a touch display or an unintuitive OS. It should just support my daily activities. That self-improvement and measuring is crap - It won't help people getting healthier. I have two Pebble Steel - And I will not part with them unless I won't get any replacement parts.

    Great video! Some vignetting is actually good!! One of the latest blackmagic updates uses gyro info to combat the rolling shutter and that crops in the screen some what in post, so a part of the vignetting will disappear just there plus my bmpcc 4k does not have stabilisation so for sport related material i stabilise in post too which would crop it in a bit more soo the whole vignetting probably would be gone by that point! to bad these adapters are so pricy..

    Hey! Kinda late hopped on this video, great content btw! I've bought myself recently an R3, and considering that all 3 generations share a simmilar chasis, I've order myself an ODD cage, where I will place a second drive, and just out of interest, if the ODD is removed from the PC, is it possible to place 2 2.5" drives instead, or that place will be able to hold only one drive? The computer is running on an NVME SSD by the way, I want to add more drives just to have some spare storage.

    • @StreamTeknology
      @StreamTeknology 3 місяці тому

      SSDs are so light, you can stick them anywhere - two might fit if they are thin enough, but if it doesn't, you can find anotherplace to put it, I'm sure. The space where the HDD can easily hold four SSDs. :)

    • @00sanghun
      @00sanghun 3 місяці тому

      @@StreamTeknology I remember seeing a photo on the internet where an SSD was fixed with screws instead of the disc drive. That's why I'm interested wether it's possible to place 2 in that place. I'd rather fix them ion place with some screws, instead of sticking them. Anyways, once the ODD cage will arrive, I will play around and see what options I have, but thanks for the info :D And yeah, I do not think that I will even place 4 drives in that PC, as the board has only 3 SATA ports available. For now, I'm planning to install one 3.5" HDD, and another SSD or 2.5" HDD (didn't decide yet on the last part, will see the availability of both in my region, once all the parts arrive)

    Ya de ya da he is selling NDI stuff so his words will drip with honey in describing NDI. AHD,TVICVI and SDI can be transported over Ethernet and fiber optics,so NDI being license is a bummer for you can transport all these video formats over network without restrictions. When I take the NDI cames and screen capture out of the loop the video feeds works fine. should I convert the HDMI 4k cameras to an SDI connection?

    • @IEBATechThoughts
      @IEBATechThoughts 3 місяці тому

      I can't answer your question specifically, but a couple thoughts based on your question, you mentioned your bandwidth up and down, however that doesn't have anything to do with your local NDI bandwidth. You need to make sure you are using a very high quality local network switch to handle multiple NDI cameras. Later you mentioned 4K, but the mini may not be a 4K video mixer - depending on which model it is. So I don't know if you're trying to bring in 4K signals over NDI and that could be causing the issues? Then you also talk about screen capture... So there's a lot going on. Try adding one thing at a time to see where the issue is specifically, and then work on that.

I ordered the Withings Scanwatch 2 but hey guess what - NO QUICK REPLY ?! Wtf? It should be a default feature on every SW! I think Garmin gets pretty close though and as you've mentioned the Fossil-brand but that is difficult to get hands on here in Europe. Pebbles OS is unbeaten without a doubt but physically I would've loved a new model that has a brighter color-display, round and bigger and if possible wireless charging. • @zdanee
    @zdanee 6 місяців тому

    The best part of the Pebble was the timeline UI and the notifications, especially notification history. WearOS is cumbersome and Samsung is downright weird with notifications, neither has history and both sync with your phone's notifications, so a careless swipe dismisses the notification to the /dev/null and you will never know what was in it. I never cared for the fitness features and I am quite angry that Apple basically made everyone turn the Smartwatches into glorified fitness trackes. We've had a perfectly fine device category for that: actual fitness trackers! Now every smartwatch tracks 700+ types of activity nobody cares for, but you have to hunt down an in-depth review video to find a single frame at 39:11 to see how it handles notifications. Or does it have a multi-timer (Samsung just recently added a few months ago, yet Pebble had it for a decade, it's not such a wild concept for a _watch_ FGS)? Anyways, thanks for the video. I still have a PTS I use from time to time, a PT my mom uses, an OG Kickstarter edition, glued shut with a bad display, and my GF had a Round, but it never held a charge for more than 4 days even when new.

    Does this adapter work for a lumix g100 micro four thirds camera?

  • @nightdonutstudio
    @nightdonutstudio 6 місяців тому

    Do you know any adapter that has high quality glass that is superior to 2x build in doubler? I need to stop to as you said at least f4, f5.6 is better for edge to edge sharpness. But after doubler that is f8 or f11 exposure. Very dark lens. Only gripe with B4 lens. So maybe there is adapter with better quality glass?

    • @IEBATechThoughts
      @IEBATechThoughts 6 місяців тому

      The Multicam systems uses the glass from the Blackmagic design converter so it is broadcast glass. Also, the better the lens you start with, the better your result, so starting with a lens made to higher tolerances - "HD" lenses often deliver better results than SD lenses. There are also now lenses certified for 4K. So it's not all about the doubler.

      @@kamileqone what are you VPNing to? I mean, the remote tablet would have to be connected to the same LAN the MEVO is connected to. So a VPN tunnel from your remote location into, and a part of, the same LAN that the camera is on. Is that what you're doing?

    Great video, I read on some comments that viltrox adapter 4/3 to M43 is better than this brand. But I believe both are the same.
